"Uma chave crucial para o entendimento do destaque inescapável de Marley como um ícone cultural internacional é o reconhecimento de como, através da história, indivíduos "marginais" como ele, isto é, aqueles nascidos de pais separados por diferenças significantes de raça e classe, muitas vezes se acharam catapultados para a linha de frente dos movimentos de seus povos por uma transformação radical e revolucionária. Este volume obedece a todos os trâmites que tornaram fundamentais as «deluxe edition» de registos como o mítico «Exodus». O primeiro CD deste duplo longa-duração apresenta a edição normal de «Legend», incluindo duas canções extra («Easy Skanking» e «Punky Reggae Party»), as quais haviam sido editadas na versão inglesa deste disco e em cassete. O segundo disco integra remisturas de singles, grande parte deles editados ao longo da década de 80, bem como uma versão inédita de «Lively Up Yourself». Realce ainda para a excelente qualidade do booklet, o qual inclui as letras de «Legend» fotos de Marley.
